Who we are
A family business, from Morocco to Florida
Mourad Chehab and his wife Maria Yarane opened Treasures of Morocco in March 2003, in a small shop sixteen blocks from downtown St. Petersburg.
They still travel home to Morocco to choose every piece themselves. Today the little shop is a large warehouse and showroom.
The craft
Made by hand, never two alike
Most of our pieces are made and painted by hand by Moroccan artisans. Small differences in size, detail and colour are part of the craft.
